self worth and beauty is an echo 1

I find myself saying things all the time that I heard my Mum say. As an adult I now realise I took on things in my own life that I heard my Mum repeat over herself. Positive and negative, I owned them as my own.

It got me thinking – What is my daughter echoing from my words and actions? Are they all positive?

Babies are born knowing their self worth; as life moves on, expectations and attitudes of other people can wear down this natural sense of self worth.

I need to be that voice for my daughter, affirming myself, believing in myself that I am capable of doing my best with the talents I’ve been given, so that her echo is positive, beautiful and healthy.

This is an amazing clip from Dove – How she feels about her beauty starts with how you feel about yours.

Celebrate that you are a valuable person, equal to everyone else and that your beauty, talents and thoughts are unique and worthy.

It all starts with a positive mindset, affirming yourself over and over and over again until it becomes your reality.

Just listen to the little echoes that will follow!
