The raw call for love and acceptance

I recently met an elderly man, by chance, Im not sure. He called it a God moment. I was an Angel sent to him.

An hour of my life I spent with this dear, lonely old man in which I heard many a sad story of his broken life. He has children who he hasn’t seen or spoken to for over 40 years, Grandchildren who think he isn’t alive and probably Great Grandchildren.

As I was listening to his stories all I could hear was the cry of his heart for acceptance.

To be loved and accepted was all he wanted. He has lived his life of hard work, he doesn’t care for money or material things. It was the people in his life that he no longer has that mattered the most. He was so longing for relationship that he offerered me a business proposal and my family and I to live with him forever. As far fetched as this sounds all I could do was speak life into his situation. Words of faith and victory, affirming him, approving him, letting him know that he is valued. I believe that with our words we can release favour and blessing into somebody else’s life.

Unconditional Love and Acceptance is one of the most basic needs of all humanity.

Remember that no act of kindness is ever too small or ever wasted when you are depositing it in someone else’s life.
